My wheel has arrived!

Yay! I’m so excited. :cheering: My wheel arrived a couple hours ago and I’m currently waiting (3 more hours yet) for the glue to dry on the base before I can finish putting it together. I got the wheel for a great price on ebay from a wonderful seller in Holland, it seems very solid (as long as I can put it together well enough) and apparently it is very like a Louet to spin with. There’s a picture of it in pieces below, and there is a picture of how it’s supposed to look when put together in this thread.

I will update soon when I’ve had a go with it and have some yarn (hopefully) to show off.

Hurray for you! :cheering: :cheering:
Im still shopping for my wheel - let me know what you think of yours.
I have forgotten the name but isnt this the company that started with another before louet went out on his own?
If I remember correctly louet parts are interchangeable. Nice buy!

Thanks quirky. I’m not sure if this is a ‘branded’ wheel. Others suggested that this is a handcrafted item that may be using some Louet parts, it runs really smoothly, when I keep it going in the same direction :roflhard: Best of all, it’s really aesthetically pleasing to us, so DH didn’t have a probem with me buying it!

Once I get the hang of it (being optimistic here) I will fill you in on how I like it.
