It has been about a year since I started knitting, and about ten months since I was lucky enough to find this wonderful website. It has brought me laughter and joy, and also taught me several things to help me knit.
I have not been on the site since about the beginning of December because we were in Hawaii for several weeks over Christmas. It is next to impossible to catch up after that long.
I will now be gone again for six weeks. During that time my husband will be have two major surgeries to have a tumor removed from his spine and chest cavity, which was found after we returned home from our trip. The doctors are 99% certain it is benign, but won’t know for certain until the biopsy is done.
The first surgery is scheduled for next Tuesday, so I am asking that you all think positive thoughts to get him thru the next few weeks and then thru the second surgery which will be February 17th.
