Besides knitting, I’m also a teacher for home-bound students (they’re too sick to go to school) Some of my students have no technology in their homes at all and I need a 3-G iPad so I can bring technology (teacher web-sites, presentations, etc) to them. Since I don’t have the money (nor does my district), I’ve created a classroom project request at DonorsChoose.org, an award-winning charity.
:Good luckI hopeyou get what you need for teaching the kids I know what its like I have a child that is too sick togo to school. So far he has been sick for a year and a half and still no answers why or with what. So good luck
Socklady, I hope your child improves soon. Are you receiving homebound services through your school district? My heart goes out to you. It’s a difficult thing to have a sick child!
Quick note: One of my students just had hospice services initiated. SO SAD. He’s going downhill very rapidly. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
They have him enrolled in English correspondance to see how he does with me helping him. If he gets through that ok they will put him in more of his subjects
He is in grade 10, and yes do I eer hope they have answers soon. We know he has asthma but whatever else has gothim has been giving him pain, affecting his breathing, his eyes have been affected just to name a few so it would be an answer to a prayer to know what is going on
He’s in my prayers!
I can’t believe they’re only giving him English correspondence, though! Unless he just can’t handle anything else. If that’s the case, I get it. If not, by law, they have to provide him a complete education!
