So I was going to clean my house (a little) tonight, perhaps move the yarn I have been storing in my living room into the extra bedroom/office. But then I thought why not take pictures and post them on my blog. So I did. I managed to completely avoid housework, and feel like I was doing something at the same time.

I can’t remember the brand. I’ll check it out when I get home and post it. It is soooo super soft, I love it. I’ll try to get a close up picutre so you can see the different textures. I’m really going to have to go get some more some day.

Don’t tempte me! You know, I also have about 5 bags with yarn in it hidden in my closet. I organized my stash so I could get rid of all the stuff I won’t use. The stuff I bought when i was learning how to knit. My tastes have really changed in the past 3 years. My neighbor and one of her friends are just learning how to knit, and don’t have much disposable income. So I’m going to bag up all the “old” stuff, and let they pick everything they want.

I thought I was bad - but you have me beat I think. You could have gone shopping for my yarn in your stash!!!
It is funny though… I am so bad about buying yarn that I fall in love with and then I don’t know what to do with it so it goes into my stash. Every so often I will go to look for something and come across something else I bought and try to figure out what was I thinking when I bought that!
It is so funny how my tastes have changed over the last 2 or 3 years.

love your yarn and the drawers you have it in. i need to get something like that for mine.
I got the drawers at Big Lots for about $10 each. I bought them a few at a time. But the great thing about them is that they are stackable, but you don’t HAVE to stack them. I like being able to move them singly as opposed to having them hooked together.

The scarf at the top of the blog is Patons SWS in the Natural Earth colorways. Hope that helps.
