My spinning friend

I need some direction! I have an older friend who used to spin, but gave it all up when her arthritis got so bad (totally disfigured hands). She gave me all of her yarn. I have a hank of lace-weight white silk that I’d like to make into a scarf for her. I’ve never worked with homespun yarn before. Are there particular stitch patterns that will show off the idiosyncracy of this yarn?

I found these. I searched lace scarf on ravelry, and then put in the fiber as silk and this is what I came up with. If you’re not on there, you should join. It’s free. :slight_smile: They have a boatload of patterns on there.
