Is horribly square so I blocked and stretched it (it’s not only square but too small for the foyer). It’s drying now. Someone suggested I post it here (it’s in my blog too). It’s done with 4 strands of Sugar and Cream. Will I have to reblock this every time I wash it (I thought I read that somewhere). Help!
I guess some yarns stay blocked, but I’m not sure about cotton. Cotton shrinks up which will add to your problem. I’m not sure of the answer, but hopefully someone will. If all else fails it would make a lovely bathmat!
Lisa, it’s really a bummer when you put your heart and soul and a lot of time into something and it doesn’t come out the way you want. I know, I’ve done it enough for everyone that posts here.
But, I bet it would look great in a bathroom as Jan said, or in a childs room. Another suggestion, do you have a table or some other piece of furniture that would look good with a pretty blue rug under it?
I’m not sure either on how the cotton will do…but it’s very pretty!! I agree with the bathmat :yay:
It’s currently way to big for a bathmat but if it shrinks as I wash it, maybe it’ll fit. We have skinny bathrooms. But it does match the color I want to paint the powder room.
