My Niece's afghan

I just finished it last night. I added fringe this morning but have no batteries for my camera. I did it in strips and seamed it. I will make a note not to do any seaming at midnight. This is for my niece’s graduation.

Wow, that’s really lovely. Very nicely done and such striking colour choices. What stitch pattern is that?

 I LOVE it!!! I really love the colors!!! :cheering: :cheering: WTG

:inlove: Beautiful - the colors are great together!

So bright and beautiful!

Pretty! :inlove:

That looks so snuggly and warm.

Beautiful job!

Thanks!! I used Caron Simply Soft in brites and a few softer colors. I really like how it looked put together. I used 2 strands together on US13 needles

The stitch pattern was a type of rib:
R1: Knit
R2: K1, *P1, K2 repeat from *

It was very simple.

I gave it to Angie today and it was a hit!

I cannot see the Pic
I want to

Thanks so much for all the kind comments!!! I was really nervous about her reaction, but she loved it and so did everyone at the party. My sister, whom I’ve never been very close with, was touched and that made me extra happy.
