My new knitting bag

I made one… yeah! AND, I’m giving it away… yes, you read that correctly… please go to my blog for details. :woot:

That’s a cool bag! I wish I knew how to make them!

It is a beautiful piece of work. You should be so very proud. I absolutely love it.

Thanks! :aww:

Thank you to those who have already posted such nice stories about how you’ve helped others… etc… on my blog.

Knitters are such a kind, generous group. :muah: :muah:

Ooooo, that is so lovely!!! I posted on your blog!

Yeah!! It’s going to be such a nice blog entry… w/ all the stories that are being posted.

Thanks for posting on my blog!

Gorgeous!!!

And the windbreaker liner is a great idea.

Thanks! Silver,
I decided to use a different fabric… for my ‘proto-type’ knitting bag… than the fabric like your bag… (I actually had the same fabric as the beautiful one that you had made, that I had bought a long time ago,… and I had asked others about ‘what features’ (the loops) was on that ‘expensive’ brand … which I’ve never seen in person before.

Then later, I was so happy to see your posting w/ your wonderful bag that you had made.) *We have the gore-tex fabric here… which is a wonderful fabric.

I went to the fabric market to get the lining and the snaps… boy, was that fun trying to FIND WHERE THE SNAPS were located… in this 6 story building! It’s one of those things where I’d seen ‘the snaps’ in the past… but, when I wanted to buy them-- where oh where were they now?

Your bags are beautiful.

I saw your bag on your blog first- it is absolutely gorgeous! I posted, too. I love reading your blog!

:muah: Thanks again! I won’t post any new stories- (Until I post the winner’s name) I don’t want the Thanksgiving story to get buried … but, do check in daily to read what others have posted. *or read some of the older entries- if you’ve not read them!

It’s very heart-warming to read the stories that people are leaving behind. I hope that many more post stories… spread the word… so, that we’ll get lots of amazing stories posted.

:cheering: Go check the blog out and share stories of strangers helping you or you helping a stranger.

Awesome! pink is my favorite color ever

samsam… it’s more of a cranberry/wine-ish color w/ gold… a brocade type of fabric. (spelling??)

Beeeeautiful bag! :muah:

:aww: Thanks so much ‘artlady’… go to my blog for details-- I’m giving it away free in a drawing.

For those interested… the winner of the bag was knitting helps own: ABBILY

To read her entry, and many other heart warming stories, in the: How you have helped a stranger or how a stranger helped you in a time of need… contest…

Thanks to all who took the time to post an experience and for those that read them- it made me feel a little more hope for the world and to read about the kindness of strangers is heartwarming.
