personally i was all excited when i saw your mushroom cloud hat and was disappointed when i saw that the hat itself didn’t have such volume. i clicked on the post because i love mushroom hats! i think it looks lovely!!

I wish I could crochet beyond the chain and single crochet–that hat is TOO ADORABLE!!! :inlove: I’d LOVE to knit it for myself!!! Was it hard?

Thank you. :slight_smile: No, not hard at all. And if you can sc, double crochet is just one tiny step more. I’ve written the pattern and am going to get a friend to test it first.

And thanks to the rest of you for making me not feel so bad about the hat. Think I still might keep it for days when my hairstyle is down.
