After 25 years, I picked up knitting needles, and this is the result. I never kept knitting back then, but now I can’t stop. This website is the reason it got done, so I thought you should see it.

great job- it looks so cozy. A good sweater for curling up with a good book and a cup of coffee…
Beautiful!! You did a great job!
Fabulous job!
Welcome to KH!
Anne Marie,
Nice sweater! Curious…what yarn did you use? How many skeins? I think I have a completed project that is begging to be frogged (it is very ugly), and the yarn looks similar to this.
You did a beautiful job, and welcome to the site! :cheering:
Nathalie,
I used Lion Wool-Ease Chunky, in wheat, which asked for 6 skeins, 11 needles, but I only used 5 for a size small. I didn’t swatch it, but luckily it just fits. The pattern is on the cover of a BHG Book “Knitted Sweaters for Her” It was fun and easy to knit. Thank you all so much for the welcome and encouragement. I am swatching like crazy now , and have discovered the wonders of a good yarn store .
