My first sweater and my first FT clogs

I finished these some time ago, but I’ve been a bit lazy with the picture taking. :rollseyes:

My very first sweater is Samus from Knitty in Encore Worsted Cranberry. The sleeves are too big (too roomy), but other than that, I’m very pleased with the sweater! I wear it a lot in my 'puter room when I get chilly.

The FT clogs are knit with WOTA and a wee bit of another yarn, the name of which esapes me…gah! Anyway, they’re fuzzy and wonderfully cozy! The bumpers are a bit wonky, but that’s okay. My next pair will look better!

:cheering: Hooray! Though I’m disappointed we didn’t get to see the Samus on you. It looks great! How was the icord thing? That’s what stops me from trying that one.

Oh the i-cord thing isn’t hard at all–just tedious! But I will say that you have to go about it at a funny angle or else it turns in rather than pops out. I learned that by knitting mine incorrectly! :wink:

My next Samus will look better and will fit better. Two arms can fit in those sleeves! :shock:

That sweater is gorgeous, Angelia! Did you have to sew the i-cord on or was it attached somehow as you made it? The clogs are purty, too!

It’s too too hot here to wear the clogs–don’t want to stink them up before winter :wink:

They are divinely soft and cushy, though, and I can’t wait to wear them. Oh, and the DH now wants a pair! :thumbsup:
