Stem:
Ch 46 (on the last chain pull a big loop and pull tight to make a knot)

Flower:

For the start of the flower you need to make a magic loop.

Magic loop => hold your palm of the hand that you use to hold the yarn so that it is facing you; grab your yarn and put on you had so that the tail is touching your palm and over your first 2 fingers; wrap the yarn once around your fist two fingers; turn your hand over and insert your hook so that it is under two strands of yarn; take the yarn off your fingers by holding on to it with one of your fingers; pinch the two strands together to hold it; yarn over with the ball end and sl st
(note: this does not count as the first sc in this pattern)

Round 1: 10 sc in the magic loop (note: make sure when you sc that there are 2
strands of your your sc around) pull the tail of the yarn tight but not
too tight so that it forms a circle
Round 2: [sc, hdc, dc, in the next st; dc, hdc, sc in the st after that] repeat
until the end sl st in the sc and ch1 to make a knot

Leaves (make 2):
Row 1: Ch 2
Row 2: In 2nd ch from hook, 3 sc, ch1 turn (3 sc)
Row 3: sc inc in next 2 sts, sc across, ch1 turn (5 sc)
Row 4: sc across to last 2 sts, sc inc in the next 2 sts ch1 [make a big loop and
pull tight to make a knot] (7sc)

To Assemble:
-Leaves: stitch up the sides of the leaves so that it looks like a crescent
moon; tie it to one end of the stem so the crescent shape faces
upwards like a smile; weave in the ends
-Flower: at the opposite end of the stem tie the stem to the flower weave in
the ends

That is really cool!!! Nice job and thanks for the pattern.

That’s very cute.

Not to sound mercenary, but you could make a bunch of those (sorry for the pun) and sell them at craft fairs.

I’ve actually thought about making some stuff and selling it on ebay or etsy… but i kinda need to talk to my parents about it… even though i’m 21 i should probably get they’re approval before doing that… i can make hemp jewelry also…
