My first FO projects and a question!

I taught myself to knit using this site-IT ROCKS! I started around Thanksgiving and was able to make a bunch of Christmas gifts…

This was the first thing I ever knitted…didn’t have a pattern just “did it”. This is a small security blankie for my niece.

These are the scarves I made for my mom and kids and their dolls…Now my mom want’s a matching purse!

My fingerless gloves…using leftover yarn from the blankie…gross just realized my fingernails are ickky…ignore that please! LOL

I knitted this scarf using a worsted weight with the fun stuff…the pic is on needles but it’s done now…

Now for my PRIZE piece…Here is the question…my felted cord is really too short IMO to cut in half and make two handles. I was hoping to find someone with leftover they don’t need but not having a lot of luck. What would you do? MY BOOGA BAG! :cheering:

I just realized I probably posted these pics wrong and I apologize… :??

:inlove: For a newbie you did WONDERFUL!!!

I love all the colors that you used!!!

Wow, you’ve done some great work. That Booga bag is gorgeous!

 Everything looks great!!

For the booga question - how about if you use one strap and put it in the sides…could you maybe cut a little off and make a little close for the purse?

What is that pink yarn? I love it!

Are you sure the strap is too short? Mine seemed short at first, but it stretches.

Maybe they just seem short then…I guess I will just go ahead with putting them on! My friends and I just started a knitting group and we meet the first time on Thursday. I so wanted to take it!

The yarn for the blankie and gloves is indeed pink…and so soft. Honestly I just got it at Garden Ridge though…

beautiful!!

And you’re a fast learner!!!

Great job on everything! Beautiful colors on the bag, too! :cheering:

Nice job!! I love the booga!! :cheering:  :cheering:

wow, you’ve done a lot since you started! Beautiful work!

WOW! Everything looks so nice! That is my fav color for a booga bag, its on my to do list.

WTG! :cheering:

Great projects. I love the colors of the scarf on the needles. If my daughter sees the American Girl Doll with a scarf, she will ask me to do one for her doll! I agree with everyone else - I love the colors of that booga bag!

:cheering: Great job on everything!!! I love the booga bag colors!!!

Everything looks great!

Beautiful work! Love the matching doll scarves & Booga bag!

Everything looks wonderful and I love that bag! :cheering:

Ooh, I love everything, but especially the fingerless mitts.

Great work. I love the colours of the yarn you used. I bet your Mum and girls are proud. If your children are anything like mine, they will be pestering you both to knit for them and to teach them to knit. Happy knitting.
