I didn’t need a scarf but wanted to learn cables, so I knit a small doll blanket for my daughter.
Now to move on to cabled sweaters! :happydance:

I did the same thing when learning cables. I made a blanket for myy daughters dolls. Actually I do that for all new stitches I want to learn I end up making blankies for the kids dolls.
