hooray! But honey, your pic isn’t there…

Thanks for letting me know. It worked when I first posted. Oh well now it should be showing.

its very pretty. i love the color you chose.

Nice! The satin edge will be a good touch. I love garter stitch, but it is so slow to do. I do it anyway. A labor of love. Lots of stitches in that blanket.

Yeah there are a lot of stitches in it. I did it on size 9 needles. It took me a couple months to get finished. I restarted that darn thing four times. I can’t wait to get the navy blue or black thread tonight and tomorrow put on the navy blue satin edging. It’s big enough to fit his craddle. I am starting another one now, its in garter stitch too. I am thinking of seed stitch for a third blanket if I get time. But I got a cross stitch to finish, and a shelf that needs some more paint, and to top it off apartment searching with DH. All while getting close to having this little one.

Great job. I did several baby blankets in garter stitch and they turned out to be some of my favorites. The satin edge will really complete the look. (I really don’t have the skills to add the satin border but I wish I did!)

Looks lovely!!

It looks great! The satin edging will complete it nicely.

 Looks Great!!

Very very nice! And a true labor of love! Garter stitch is nice and cozy, too! Extra squishy!

Thanks everyone for your notes. My DH did a house cleaning and I can’t find my sewing machine pedal, UGH!!! So hopefully I’ll find it soon. I really want it to work on the satin edging. In the mean time I have started another baby blanket, this time two yarns at the same time. First time doing that too. I am sticking with garter stitch again since it stretches nicely.

Nice job!

Looks soft and snuggly!

Looks like a great blanket for a little one to cuddle up in! Thanks for sharing… :yay:

Thanks for sharing! Post a pic when you get the edging on. I know it’s going to be so sweet!

I sure will post a pic of it when it’s finished. Tomorrow I am gonna dive in to the totes to see if I can find my petal. We’re gonna be moving at the end of next month, so we’re kinda packing up.

Nice job! I like the soft cuddly feel of garter stitch.
