My first attepmt at k2 p2 pattern... have a question

OK this is my first attempt here and I don’t think I am doing it right!

I do the knit 2… then when I go to do the p2 do I bring the yarn under the needles? It just doesn’t look right :??

I tried coming OVER to and couldn’t get the yarn through when I wrapped it around the needle…

I need serious help… but perhaps no one here has a degree in that area :thinking:

Bring the yarn to the front, between the needles to purl. Then wrap the yarn counter clockwise around the right needle.

THATS what I was doing wrong!

I was going UNDER not back though between the needles.

I just watched the video on ribbing… I didn’t realise that was what I was doing :oops:

I “think” its going now… I am only on like row 3 so its hard to tell just yet :lol:
