Screenshot_20230218_072731_Photos I am having difficulty understanding how to proceed with knitting the front I have put (XSsize) 65 sts.onto a holder and have the front stitches on my circular dpn needle.

Is this now knitted flat ?Screenshot_20230218_072554_Gmail
Thank you for your assistance
Lise

Yes from now on you’ll be knitting the front (and later the back) flat. The photo is a good guide to how the decreases will line up. Later on the front itself will divide and you’ll work each side of the v-neck separately.
It’s a very neatly worked camisole.

I am (as always) so thankful for your help!
Each time I have reached out I have gotten a quick and thorough answer.
It is so very appreciated . I’ve been quite frustrated with myself and knitting lately. The major reason is reading different patterns. Since most people don’t seem to have as much difficulty I have concluded I am most deficient and almost gave up completely. I love knitting but this is a major problem for me.
I don’t know what is wrong with me and most patterns I own . I have knitted since I was 8 years old off and on.
Without your assistance I don’t know what I would have done.
Very appreciative,
Lise

We’re all glad to help.
Really, it’s not you! Patterns aren’t standardized and each designer has his or her own way of writing them. It can be thoroughly confusing. Keep persisting, ask questions and it will become easier. Not always perfectly clear on the first read through, but a bit better.

Oh don’t give up!
Ask your questions before you get frustrated and enjoy your knitting.

This is a nice looking top, I have a couple very similar to this on my favourite list but I think I need high neck and long sleeves to keep me warm!
