A friend of mine made me, well actually my baby girl, the seamless yoked sweater too! Hers is turquoise.

gorgeous!!! Can I ask you, how did you make that crotch on the pants?

Everything is so cute!

Thanks to all of you for the kind words… I’m so happy and very motivated :happydance:

Dear Jaxhill, the dreamy pink pant is based on the doodlepant but I incorporated the crotch from the Fern & Fernie Wool Soakers and Pants Pattern Book.

Basicially, you just place a marker in the center of the front and back of your pants and start increasing one stitch before and after the markers. I started about 1.5 inches before I plan to split for the leg holes and split when I’ve about 12 sts between my markers, then weaved the crotch tog with kitchener st. It’s actually quite easy once you started doing it.

Cheers,
Maryann :XX:

Maryann, thank you soooo much!! My DM just made a pair of knitted pants for my 2yr old DD and had a terrible time doing the crotch-this is a wonderful tip. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain it! :happydance:

Next pair will be much more comfy for her!

 thanks again!

Cute stuff you did a great job!!

wish folks would put their pics in their post. Following links is very time consuming for those of us on dial up. I love to see what people have done.

It’s really very easy, see the sticky.

I agree and tell people that all the time, Ginny. However this is an ancient post and she hasn’t posted in over a year. :teehee:

Oh my, you were busy! Great work!

Thanks for sharing your knitting with us!!! :grphug:
