:waving: Hi everyone!
I got my ashford home and have been playing with it. The first roving i played with is from my stepdad’s sheep, and is really pretty course with a very long staple.
this is the first decent pull from that:

And the second roving I have been playing with I got from a festival last weekend for pretty cheap, but it’s a nice bright white and spins nicer than the other roving does:

In the white one I had quite a few breaks because I wasn’t getting the tension just right, tricky little spinning wheel:hair:
but I guess the more I play, and the less I let my cat play :roflhard: the more even it will be!
Make sure to keep your first spinnings, Its fun looking back once in awhile to see how much you have improved…Its looking good. It all comes with practice… Keep having fun:>

Make something special from those 1st yarns. Perhaps a little bag to hang on your wheel to store your oil or other spinning items.
