Hello! Generally I am pretty good at figuring out how to do patterns on my own, but this one has me stumped. I am trying to make this scarf for a friend that involves multidirectional knitting to make zig zag triangles. I can only find maybe three postings online about this particuar stitch, but none of it was particularly enlightening past the beginning wedge. Can anyone here help me out with this particularly vexing Christmas gift?
I love all the pics in this blog tutorial
Does that help?
The multidirectional zig zag scarf patterns I’ve seen aren’t entrelac - you don’t pick up stitches.
Which pattern is it (there’s a couple), and what part are you stuck on?
Hmmm, now I’m confused!
Yes, pommedesang88 can you post a link or a picture of what you’re trying to do?
I jumped to Entralac because you said multidirectional - but then again, entrelac is definitely more zig-zagging squares than triangles, but it’s the only thing I’ve done that goes in multidirections!
Oh, I did a search - something like this?
Or this one - http://douma.net/Karen/knitting/Accessory-Scarves/Multidirectional_Diagonal_Scarf.htm
or about 3 other ones…
