Much smaller needles?

Hey everyone! I want to make the Saturday Market Bag in the round (I’m going to use Sabrina’s modified pattern for her blog) but I just spent a great deal of money on my KnitPicks Options set and I’m not really interested in purchasing a set of size 15 needles. The largest my set has is 11, so do you think that I can use the size 11s and just make it a little larger, or would that not work? How would I modify it?

EDIT: Here is the pattern I’m referring to - http://sabrinajl.com/cgi/wp/?page_id=46

I’m not familiar with the pattern, but you could knit up a small swatch using the same yarn and stitch pattern you plan on using with the size 11’s and see if the stitches are way too tight. If you’re happy with how it comes out then you could work on figuring out how to make it larger or just knit it as is, knowing that it will be smaller than the original pattern suggests.

It should be okay, the mesh just won’t be as large. CO the stitches you need for the width and knit until it’s the length you want.
