More Holborn help please! 😂

Hello, still here working away slowly on my Holborn jumper. Can I just check my understanding of this bit of the raglan sleeve bit? I’m doing large which is the size that has 71 stitches after doing the 2 rows with casting off.

Am I now doing a decrease at each end of the next row (calling this row 1) and then again 9 times on the 4th row? So 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, etc until I have 51 stitches and then doing alt rows until 21?

What does “keeping all raglan decreases correct as set” mean?

Thanks again everybody!

Naomi

Yes those are the correct rows for the decrease. “As set” is telling you where along the row to place the decreases. There was an earlier row under Back, Shape raglan armhole that gave these directions. The decreases are two sts in from the ends.

Salmonmac, you’re a legend. Thank you!

I just have vast experience in making every possible mistake in pattern reading and in knitting! You are making great progress with this very pretty design.
