Hello, hope everyone’s been doing well. I’m back to work on the Holborn jumper and these instructions still make no sense to me. Everytime I read it my brain shuts off. 
Can someone tell me exactly what I’m meant to be doing? Thanks so much! It’s so appreciated as always!
You’re making fine progress on this lovely sweater too.
Skip over any direction that has a 0 (or an X or -) for your size.
If you call the cast off of 3 sts on the next 2 rows, rows 1 and 2 then you will decrease on row 3 (RS row) as given, at the beginning and end of row. Purl the next row, row 4 (WS row). Dec at each end of row 7 and then on rows 9,11,13,15,17,19,21,23 and so on until you have 47sts.
(It’ll take 34 alternate rows to get to 47sts.)
