More FOs -- a scarf, wristwarmers

I’m not really that productive – I just look that way! I’m always moving onto grander and more glorious things before I finish the stuff I’m working on. Things that are nearly finished languish in my Bag of Despair for weeks – sometimes months – on end until I get around to finishing them.
Then, when I finally do finish things, it only takes a few hours. It’s just getting me to get around to finishe them that’s tricky.

The first is a pair of Irish Hiking Wristwarmers than have been neglected since August or so. They’re made with Knit One Crochet Too Paintbox.

The next is a short version of Magknit’s Matilda Scarf; I only had maybe a half a ball of Noro and some mysterious black yarn.

Thanks for looking!

Lovely! I love the colorways!

Pretty! I really love those wristwarmers!

Very cool stuff!

You sound just like me. I’m completion challenged. I’m trying to do better with that, though. Your wristwarmers and scarf are just lovely.

Thanks for the lovely comments, guys!

Wow I love the wrist warmers. The scarf also is beautiful. The colours are gorgeous.

I am wanting to knit some wristwarmers for my neice for xmas, you have just inspired me.

HI,
Your work is beautiful, but I must be dense. I don’t get it. I’m trying to remember if my wrists have ever been cold when the rest of me wasn’t. Hmmmm. Nope, didn’t happen. Now I appreciate the value of fingerless gloves. The blood actually doesn’t cool down as much when it only goes a short distance. But wrist warmers befuddle me.

I wish I could think of a way to knit sleeves only. My body doesn’t get cold, but the outside of my upper arm is always cold. I guess a shrug is as good as it gets.

So until my wrists get cold and I feel a need, I’m sticking with items that warm up the parts of me that DO get cold. Feet and ears mostly.

I love it when I finish up a bunch of WIP’s at once

The colors are wonderful! I really like how you used the black and colors in the scarf.
