Did YOU name those bags? Hysterical!!
Thanks all. THe kitty hairball purse is actually cuter than it looks there. It does tend to lose its shape if I stuff too much in. I figure its a different and fun winter bag. Need to get going on something a bit more springish!
The only mistake I made with the bag for my mom, is I felted with two towels that I thought were lint free. One of them shed pink stuff all over it. I was shaving pink off for half an hour this evening. I am hoping to get it mailed off to her this weekend for her birthday. Its so hard, she is 80 - she has everything she needs or wants - so figured maybe this would be a good idea for her. Something to show her buddies. For Mother’s Day I am going to do a ponchette for her.
Everything you made is beautiful.
I’m sure your Mom is going to have a wonderful time showing her new bag off to her friends.
Your FOs are great ! good job on the socks and bag and now you are HOOKED ! right :cheering: ENJOY…

Yes unfortunately I do name my projects, and they never lose their names. Even my boys call it the kitty hairball purse. Although today at work, one of my co-workers said I have got to have that pattern! She is one of those master knitter types but she hasn’t knitted in years…I forwarded her the booga pattern and the sophie pattern too…she plans on going shoppiing this weekend, YAY a convert!
Cooper is so handsome! give him a hug for me.
Thought maybe the hairball purse was knitted from yarn spun from kitty hairballs, Both bags look great!
