I would like to make a “mobius” bowl but can’t figure out how to do the cast on. Can anyone help?

It’s something like the provisional cast on that is demo’d on the videos here, only instead of using another strand of yarn, you use the other part of the cord on your needle. Lay it out in a circle with the tips meeting, then move the LH tip counter clockwise so the cord is under the RH tip. Then start the CO, dippng the R needle to the front and back over the cord. If you can get a look at a copy of either Treasury(s) of Magical Knitting at a library or store, that has pictures of how you have the needle.

do yourself a favor and either go to the knitty gritty website “diynet.com” and look for Cat Bordhi episode and she does it step by step. Or get yourself her book Magical Knitting, it is very simple from what she shows.
I was shocked that I did it the very first time I tried. I have done it several times since. Let me tell you, the secret is make sure you have a long enough cable.
I did her mobius scarf that is on the diynet.com episode. It was so beautiful. I wore it to the doctors office and the nurse bought it right off of my neck. You will love that episode it is the best by far
