Mmm lovely lovely merino

I currently work for a company that sells outdoor clothing and equipment. We get rgular training fromt he product suppliers about the technical properties and things of the items we sell.

Today we had a woman in form a company called Icebreaker who make base layers from … Merino!

It was great, it turned out that I as a knitter knew more about the product than the skiers and ice climbers that use them! Best of all she brought in a sample of the raw fleece and the prepared top for us to feel. It was soo beautifully soft! I have a handful sat on my desk and keep touching it cloud9

[COLOR=“DarkOrchid”]I bet the merino is wonderful to touch.
I have a bright red/orange blanket made of merino wool that I bot secondhand at ValuVillage for $5… about 5 years ago. We use it on the bed during the coldest days. It’s in pristine condition and so wonderfully soft and warm.
It was such a bargain!
To Knit or not to Knit, that is the question…
