I want to make Misty Garden scarf from ScarfStyle. Do I need to make a border at the beginning and end of the row to keep it from rolling? I believe it is a feather and fan pattern.

Feather and fan shouldn’t roll. The Scarf Style pattern would tell you to add a border if you needed one. It’s a good book. Welcome, by the way!
