I learned how to knit successfully using this site and a stitch and bitch book. After knitting a few rows on a scarf I realized that I had a hole and needed to go back. I tried unknitting stitch by stitch and reknitting. I ended up with extra stitches on my needle. So now I need to go back again. What is the best way to do that? Should I pull the needle out and then try and pick up the stitches?
crochet hook. just use it to create loops working upwards… i’m sure there’s a video somewhere how to do it…
Check out Amy’s video on this page that show various ways of fixing mistakes. If you’re going to unravel, look at the video for insterting needle into a “destination row” , and that will make it easier for you.
