I bought some Baby Bee Sweet Delight from Hobby Lobby for a project. I was thinking size 5 needles would be just about right. Imagine my suprise:shock: when I got home and read the label. It says it is a 5 bulky and requires size 9 needles. huh?!? So, I went to the yarndex and couldn’t find it anywhere. Going by the weight/yardage I was thinking more along the lines of DK. It’s 4 oz. and 377 yards. Am I right or just crazy??

This says it’s a bulky, too.
Yeah, that’s what the label says. It’s really a 3, though and should probably do well on size 8 needles. The twist yarn is thicker however, and does okay as a worsted on size 10s. It is a very soft yarn.

Thanks Ingrid and Sue. I did a swatch on 9’s and it was very “airy.” Sevens were okay, but I wanted a tight material so I’ve gone with 5’s. So far so good.
