Mirror of k2tog THROUGH BACK LOOP

I need to mirror what I’ve done on one side, but I wonder what to do with the decrease. It wasn’t just k2tog, but it was k2tog through the back loop. Now I think I can do a normal SSK on the other side, but might there be a better way?

For I have no idea how to do a SSK through the back loop, as it actually already seems to do so

What I do: knit first loop backwards, slip next loop backwards, slip both back on LEFT needle to slip last loop over first. Done.

This way the decrease is quite defined, as was the k2tog through back loop, so it looks quite similar.

That sounds like a good solution.

I want to try this but I’m not quite clear on how you mean to do it. :whoosh: I will keep trying but if someone can help me out here, please? I’m thinking it means to knit the first stitch through the back loop? Then slip the next stitch knitwise? Then they’re both on the right needle already. One has to be passed over the other… back to experimentation.

:??

LEFT needle, I meant “slip back to left needle” I should just have said “other” needle, I get right and left mixed up too often :wall:

The slipped stitch isn’t slipped knitwise, it’s slipped purlwise I guess - no turns or twitches in the loop, as much as a bow as possible.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I will try it again. Sometimes I get left and right mixed up too. I thought maybe I was doing that when I tried doing this.
