I would like to have some one who has done this stitch to help me. I am having a problem with the instructions that have been given. I usually am pretty good with solving such problems, but this one for a women’s irish cardigan is giving me trouble. They refer to it as a left/right twist that is done without the cable needle. Thanks for your help.
What does it say to do for the the mini stitch cable?
It says to skip purl stitch, then knit the next; then go back and then purl the skipped stitch for a right twist. For a left twist - skip next st, purl in back of nextst; then knit skipped stitch.

Do exactly as written.
Insert ndl into the 2nd st on left ndl, K it, but leave it on the ndl. Then bring the yarn fwd and P the first st. Drop both. The left twist is bit trickier but same seq…P the second st on the left ndl THRU BACK LOOP (don’t drop), take yarn to back and then K the first. Drop both.
