Mini Crisis! And 'Doh' Moment!

[FONT=“Georgia”][B][I][COLOR=“Navy”]Hey all,
Firstly, an apology for being a lurker and not posting on here in a while!
Secondly, I have just had a realisation moment. I’m currently working on my first circular needle project, and its for a really close friend. It is called a ‘bed of roses shawl’ and its on elann.com. I am currently coming to the end of row 77, out of 195rows. I have just realised (after many thoughts of ‘this does not look lacey enough’) that I have miss read the pattern. I have been using 4.0mm double pointed and circulars rather than the 4.5mm double pointed and circulars.
What shall I do?
A) Frog it/keep what I have done for a different project and start the whole project again.
B) Continue with the same size.
C) Continue, but change the needle size when I get to a certain point.
D) Other option.

Your thoughts/opinions as always are gratefully received!

It seems like a lot to take out, but if you don’t like it, that won’t do.

However, lace often looks much, well, lacier after it’s been blocked, so you might still like it when you’re done.

You could do a small swatch in pattern and wash and block it and see if that solves the problem.

Ingrid -Thankyou for your swift reply. I will certainly see what that does after I remove the earlier lifelines.
