Mimico Cardigan from Tara-Lynn Morrison HELP!!!

Hello! I bought a pattern from Ravelry called the Mimico cardigan by Tara-Lynn Morrison. I think the pattern is a little confusing because all of the pieces are knit together instead of sewn together at the end which is all I have done. I was wondering if anyone was willing to Zoom me or help me interpret the pattern that would be beautiful!!

Hi and welcome!

It can be confusing when you work a pattern in a totally new way. We’ll all be happy to help with the pattern as best as we can. You can quote a couple of rows or lines of the pattern where you have questions. Please don’t post a large portion of the pattern due to designer copyright.

Yeah absolutely! So the trouble really comes at the beginning where it says “setting up markers.” Under that is says wrong side (not sure how to do that) followed by K3, P10. I know K and P mean knit and purl but does the number mean rows or stitches?

The pattern is telling you that this row is a wrong side (WS) row. If they haven’t designated a right side/wrong side before this, they’re doing it now. Put a safety pin or marker on this row so you’ll always know which is the WS.
K3 means knit 3 stitches. P10 means purl the next 10sts.
