Maybe somebody is from the Clare County area?
I am beginning to wonder where everybody is…
YooHoo! North of Mt. Pleasant - South of Houghton Lake?
I sometimes go to Cadillac where my family has some property…I miss it up there.
Sue
PS:
I live in Roseville, Macomb County.
Not, you know, mid-Michigan, but close!
I’m near Kalamazoo…but that’s not what you were asking now, is it?!
I am in between Grand Rapids & Kalamazoo, in Wayland!
Lori
Hello to all from Michigan! Wish we were all closer but this is a great way to talk knittin! I’m still a “newbie” and have made dishcloths, scarves, socks, triangle shawls, caps, and
the “mit less” mits. Not too many of anything but dishcloths and scarves so everything is a learning/doing project. Love it. Presently I am making simple headbands for my granddaughters - it will soon be … you know…
coooold! and they need to keep their ears covered.
Then I want to do more socks and mittens.
Im still in Grand Blanc, near Flint in Genesee county. I in oakland county though.
not mid-michigan but south-east isn’t so far away…
I am in Northern Oakland County (Clarkston/Davisburg).
Lisa
I’m from Michigan, but I’m in southeast Michigan near Toledo, Ohio. I think Clare is about 3 hours away from me.
I’m in saint clair shores mi.:woohoo:
I, am also besides a knitter, a Premier Designs Jewelry Consultant. Do any of you also love Jewelry??
Lori
I’m southeast michigan. Dearborn area for now but I’m moving to the Nevavda thread at the begining of the year. :woot: Which begs te question: what am i going to do with all theses scarves?
Lots of scarves won’t take up too much room! It does get pretty cold out there after the sun goes down. You could make slippers too!
I’m in Grand Rapids too…went to CMU though so know right where you are!
Hello all! I am in the Southwestern corner of Michigan–in Niles. It’s a teeeny tiny little town south of Grand Rapids and Benton Harbor. I live about 30 minutes from Benton Harbor, 45 minutes 9or so) form Lake Michigan, 45 minutes from Kalamazoo. It isn’t mid Michigan, but hey, it’s still Michigan!
I am a new Knitter, teaching myself mostly through this website, actually. I am currently working on a baby blanket and hat for my niece’s new baby, due in a month. I’ve had the hardest time trying to decide what sort of pattern to use. I think I’ve decided to just keep it simple and stick to a nice garter stitch. lol Wish me luck.
Hi Rhonda! I am BRAND NEW to this site and don’t have the faintest clue how this thing works. You are first person I responded to because you mention the “gusset” in your post. I have a funny story about my first “gusset”. Kinda’ like a trip through a cyclone and then it ends as soon as it began. Anyway, I’m Marilyn, intermediate knitter and live in Brighton MI. Feel free to e-mail me at windrunner1111@gmail.com anytime to chat further. I get down your way occassionally.
Take care.
