These were made from Knitpicks’ Fancy Feet Anklets Kit, the ‘Saturday’ socks, and I used Stroll in Mermaid. I really like them! You can see my Ravelry notes here (my first Ravelry project! :happydance: ).

Wow! Great socks! Like you, I prefer the top-down method, though I have tried some toe-up socks.
