Is there any chart for making sweaters for men? I have a great stitch book I bought and want to make one of the designs. I have all the measurements I need for his sweater, but he is out of town. So I am making this blind without having seen my brother in a few years.
I have seen basic charts for hats and such based onmeasurements wondered if the same was for sweaters

I’ve seen a few sweater generators out there.Basically it’s a site where you put in measurements and it comes up with a pattern for you.
There’s the computer program Sweater Wizard. It’s a little pricey though.
Ann Budd has a book out on how to design sweaters. It’s called “The Knitter’s Handy Book of Sweater Patterns: Basic Designs in Multiple Sizes and Gauges”. (Amazon Link) You might find it helpful.
Here’s a few pattern generators, but you need measurements.
