Hi everyone! I’ve got a friends birthday coming up in early June and I want to make him a pair of socks. When he saw the socks I made for myself he asked for a pair, but not in the girly colors I picked out. :teehee:

So I was wondering, what is everyones favorite men’s sock pattern? He and his wife are both great friends of mine, and she said he would like simple black socks with the toe & heel being grey. Anyone know of a pattern like that? Thanks!

Could you just do a standard sock pattern and change yarns when you get to the heel and tow, nothing fance just starting with a new yarn at those bits.

I love to make men socks with the pattern from Knitting Pure and Simple Mens Boot sock. It’s made with worsted weight and size six needles. Knit up pretty fast too!
