The LYS I frequent has a men’s group–“Dicks with Sticks”–that meets twice a month. Yes, it’s in a “safe space” (yarn shop), but is open to the rest of the mini-mall that the shop is in, so passers-by are treated to the sight of a dozen men knitting and laughing and generally having a great time.
Edited to add: one of the men has gone from total beginner to designing his first sweater! Friends from the LYS are now test knitting it.
