A fine good morning even with the rain, rain, rain… we need it so I’m not really complaining… besides what could be more romantic than to go with one’s hubby for a nice walk under the umbrella?! 
Working on my new piece still… have had to take it apart 4 times now… oh, it’s a good thing I love to do fabric art and it’s a good thing I can forgive myself for stupid mistakes and laugh while I take all those wonderful little stitches out and start over… Oh, but last night was a kicker…
For the 3rd time, I had been sewing around this very curvy bit… it’s a large bit and I’m sewing thru cardboard and fabric at the same time - a bit hard on the fingers… I’d been sewing on it for the better part of an hour when I realized, after the first threads had been put in place, I switched to sewing on the wrong side of the piece… it all had to come out to be done again… rats!
I left it, of course… one can only do so much at 11 o’clock at night. It greeted me in the a.m.
I’m beginning to think it has a mind of it’s own now and is just against anything that I really want to do with it… besides it was 6 a.m. and I was still groggy…
But I sat down anyway and took the stitches out, tore off one of the fabric pieces, fitted a new piece back on (this one fit) and started sewing it all again.
That’s where I am now… only now, I’m enjoying it. The fabric went on the way it should have done in the first place and I am happily adding all the embroider garnish I could wish.

And I’m still knitting as well - my great shawl lies in wait in the frontroom, overflowing it’s knitting bowl by a yard, at least, and hulking. It’s getting harder to hold up, even tho’ I, technically, let it rest in my lap… it’s kind of hard to push the thing around on the circular so that it rests where I need it at the front of my left hand needle.
I’m adding the odd strip of two different kinds of blue to it, as I feel the mood urging me to do so… I’m going to have so many thread to sew in when this giant of a thing is made… oh, dear, what have I gotten into…:teehee:
Taking a One A Day vitamin as per dr’s orders and after only a week, I can see a change in my hair! So I’m hyped!
