Here is Monidew’s market bag completed. I had to rip out five or six rows when I somehow got off pattern. Anyway, once I was back on track, the bag knitted up very quickly! I used the Emily Ocker CO. I only knitted about 10" of the lattice work, as I was concerned that I might run out of yarn. As it turns out, I think I could have knitted at least one more pattern repeat. Still, I think the size is good. Other than those two changes, I followed the pattern exactly. Thanks for providing the pattern, Monidew!
How pretty! I really
the color.
What a great collaboration between the two of you. It not only looks good but it works very well as a market bag. Thanks so much for the photos. Well done, both you and Moni!
Nice pattern and wonderful colour for a market bag
Very, very nice.
That looks great!
Nice pattern! It’s convenient and fashionable.
oh wow!! Sorry it took me so long to see this post. But what a great job you did on the bag! I hope you enjoy it. Blessings!!
It is cute and bright and ready to put all kinds of things in it. Great job!
Neat!
Very nice bag! Such a cheerful color, too!
Really Really like the color!!..It’s on my list…
I would market them as re-usable bags…make and sell them!
I have sold them right off my arm, as I am walking out of the grocery store. People have stopped me to ask if I sell them. I say, which color? They say which one they like, and I empty the contents into the other bags and sell it to them, on the spot, for about $15 (more or less.)
I seriously mean this. Make one in every color of the rainbow, and then, just use your bags. You won’t use any one color bag more than twice before someone buys it off of you and you have to reknit one in that color. Once people see them in use, they want one.
