Making the second mitten--how to reverse the pattern?

i’m a newbie knitter but ambitious–in other words i am in a tad bit over my head

i found this pattern for fingerless mitts that i wanted to try… here is the link:

but after finishing the first one it just says reverse the directions to get the other mitten. looking at my finished one, it seems i have the left hand already.

help. can someone tell me how to do this so i don’t wind up with two left hands?! thanks!

I didn’t see the instructions, but I would knit 2 mittens using the same instructions, then flip one over - WaLaa! You have a pair of mittens.
