Making a Ridge

I have searched the internet for hours and have not been able to find out this one little step. I am doing a project that calls for me to make a ridge by purling into the purl bump six rows down. Can anybody point me in the right direction I am super lost!!!

Count down 6 purl bumps from the left needle. Lift this bump with your right point and slip it to the left tip and purl it.
