Does anyone know where I can find a pattern to incorporate a ruffled edge into my purse? I’m wanting to add the ruffle to the top part and then add a pretty felted flower. I’m trying to do a really cute, sassy purse for myself (finally, something for me…lol)

I just knitted this bag with a ruffle and flower. You c/o number of sts x 2 and I knitted for 3". Then I attached the ruffle on the bag like you would for the sole of fiber trends felted clogs. You hold both needles from the ruffle and bag in left hand and use one of the right needles to knit one st from the bag and one st from the ruffle together. I hope this makes sense, it is hard to explain.
So basically, I would do the ruffle separately and then knit it on when it’s done? Hmm, I may be able to do that. And I understand the three needle bind off. I did one the other day. I’m only a quarter of the way through the body of my purse, so I have a day or two before I’ll do a ruffle. I may be back to ask more questions…lol

I love knitwit’s bag - it is really cute.
