Making a dishcloth bigger

I got a pattern book for beautiful dishcloths and I’d like to make them into blankets but dont know how to adapt. I will post a few lines of the pattern and if anyone can tell me how many stitches instead would be appreciated.
Pattern for cloth is 35 st and I have made it 105
K4 , P27, k4
next row: k 15, P1 ,K1 P1 , K17
then: k 14 , P1, K1, P2, K17
I am really excited about how this is going to turn out. Its a frog in the centre and I’m using jacquard yarn.
Thanks
Sis

The number to cast on varies with yarn weight, needle size, the size you want and your own gauge of stitches per inch. The best thing to do is to do a swatch and calculate your stitches per inch and then figure out the cast on for the size you want.

I have 105 stitches and 105 div by 35 (original) is 3 so I timesed each stitch k and p portion by 3- I hope it will turn out ok!

It doesn’t quite work out that way. The frog was only about half those sts, but if you do follow the pattern and repeat the sts 3 times across each row you’ll probably end up with 3 frogs. It also may not be large enough for a blanket, that depends on how many sts per inch you get.
