Hey all, I’m planning on making a pair of longies using the magic loop method. If I do this do I still need to alternate skiens to prevent wonky pooling and what not??
Pooling comes from the yarn, not the method of knitting. If you don’t want pooling, then you’d alternate skeins at the beginning of the rounds.
On a totally personal note, though, I think pooling looks cool.:teehee:
Yep, it has to do with the yarn and the number of sts you have. I don’t mind it either, looks good. Someone compared it to wood plank flooring where you have spots of lighter and darker wood.
I give up. What’s “pooling” ?
Pooling is when the same colors on a multicolored yarn glob together in a knit piece, rather than being striped. They make splotches.
