So last night I decided to bite the bullet and try magic loop. After all, I have been knitting since late November of last year, and all I have done is flat knitting and seaming. I don’t have DPN’s, but I bought long cables with my options in anticipation of learning magic loop.
It was actually quite easy after I got through the first 4 or so rows and really got the hang of it. I finished a case for my nintendo DS- (within just a couple hours- so magic loop really speeds me up!) however, I noticed that the stockinette is on the inside? Is that normal? I finished it, sewed the end shut, and flipped it out the other way.
The big issue I have is the sides that would have been seamed are just a little bigger, so there is a line of tiny holes going up the side. Is that just because I need more practice? I pulled as tightly as I could with the first stitch, so I was sure that wouldn’t happen. Any hints or tricks for me?
