Made another KH recommendation today!

I was KIP at the local city hall, waiting for DH to finish up a test he was taking there (applied for parks supervisor job). An employee there noticed I was knitting and asked a bit about it. I said I was self-taught with help from KH and recommended it highly. She had mentioned one of her goals was to learn how to knit and there are classes through the local community college and craft store but they were over $50, plus materials, and I mentioned that KH was FREE and she was really excited about that! LOL

I told a young woman in the library the other day. She said she’d post something, but I haven’t seen anyone that might be her yet.

I went to the knit-in on Thursday night at the LYS. My friend was saying that she wanted to learn to knit continental (I think she has been knitting for about 50 years, she’s sensational), so I told her to get onto KH. Another lady turned around and said, “Ooh! That’s a GREAT site!!”

I’ve a friend who wants to knit again after many years!! She once knitted a sweater for her husband (her FIRST project) and it was, well it was…AWFUL!!–her words!!! She now wants to knit her son a cabled afghan , so I told her to come to KH.com, and she has been lurking about ever since. She says she’s tired of practicing things now, she’s ready to start that afghan after watching Amy’s videos! Yay!
