M1r stitch in pattern

I am new to knitting and have a question on a pattern I am knitting. The part I am confused on is once I get to my raglan marker do I only do m1r stitch or do I m1r stitch until I get to my marker. If I only do one m1r stitch right before I slip my marker what stitch should I be doing up until then? Uploading: IMG_6073.jpeg…

Welcome to the forum!
Your image didn’t upload. What is the name of your pattern and designer?
In many cases you work in whatever the pattern stitch is up to the marker then M1. There are usually 4 markers and you may increase before and after the marker depending on the directions. Often the pattern stitch in knit and all the stitches are worked as knits except for 4 or 8 M1s.

I tried to upload it agin so hopefully it worked. I got the pattern off of etsy the stripe me right polo by KnitsandFika thank you

Hello
Your pattern details whether to knit or purl on each row for the main pattern stitch. The RS is knit and the WS is purled.

Hope this helps

In each case on the increase rows you’re knitting to the marker before making the M1R increase then following the directions to slip marker, knit 2, M1L etc.
Please edit your photos to remove all but the small section on the upper left of the second pattern page. We can’t post large portions of patterns on the forum due to designer copyright. Use the pencil icon in the lower right of the post to edit. Many thanks.
