Lopi bottom up pullover - attaching sleeves to yoke - egad

I am getting ready to start the yoke by attaching the sleeves as instructed. Both sleeves have 6 stitches moved to stitch holders and the yarn is not broken on either. (Maybe it should be but the instructions do not specify). I am not at all clear exactly how to go about what the design is telling me to do. Should I lay out the sleeves next to the body and just start, or should I break the yarn on the sleeves? Should I use the yarn on the body to start? Knitting is saving my sanity right now and i would like to continue working on this to finish it. Any help during this stressful time is greatly appreciated - I know everyone is dealing with this stuff so if you are too busy elsewhere, I completely understand.

Yes, you can use the same yarn that is already attached to the body. The yarn that is attached to the sleeves can be cut. I am not able to see where the yarn is attached to the sleeves, but if it happens to be at one end of the stitch holder, leave a tail long enough to be used for grafting the armpit hole.

So now you will work around all the stitches of both the body and the sleeves except for those on the stitch holders. I would knit together the body stitch with the sleeve stitch right before the stitch holder and right after to avoid holes.

You saved the day, englom! I really appreciate your helo; knitting has become my go to for calm and if I get stuck on a knitting problem, I am well and truly stuck:)
